Shinobu Ishizuka is President and CEO of Dyna-Search, Inc., a Los Angeles-based international business consultancy that helps clients reach next stage of growth through cross-cultural business insight and expertise in business project management and negotiation. Before founding Dyna-Search, Inc. in 1982, Shinobu provided UCLA with five-plus years of pro bono consulting services, assisting with the operation of a groundbreaking summer exchange program for visiting scholars from Japan. Shinobu has always been passionate about creating value through cross-cultural exchanges of ideas, a passion that is also reflected in The Zappos Miracle. His past and present clients include PARCO Co., Ltd., Kodansha, Ltd., PLUS Corporation, and Askul Corporation, among others. He has authored numerous business reports, articles, and a book, Innovation for Customer Experience (published in Japan in 2008). Shinobu received a master’s degree in Operations Research from USC.
